Abstract
This Regulation lays out the criteria for the design of waterworks such as bridges and culverts to be designed on rivers, as well as flood traps and river reclamation, in order to ensure flood prevention in rivers. To this end, this Regulation sets forth provisions on the permit procedures to carry out activities in and around the river beds; precautionary measures for the flood control facilities; flood risk assessment; and the transfer of property rights of the areas subject to river reclamation to the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works.
