Abstract
The purposes of this Regulation are: (I) to grade agricultural organizations established in accordance with the relevant legislation within the criteria determined by the Ministry in order to unify them on a common ground, and (II) to determine the procedures and principles for increasing the effectiveness of the activities of these organizations and strengthening the cooperation with relevant institutions and organizations. The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to the agricultural cooperatives established within the scope of the Law on Cooperatives No. 1163, agricultural producers union established within the scope of the Law No. 5200 on agricultural producers unions, and animal breeders associations established within the scope of the Law No. 5996 on veterinary services, plant health, food and feed. This Regulation lays down provisions on the duties of the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform and the Grading Commission; scoring criteria for the grading of agricultural organizations which are set out in Annex-1; requirements for the applications of agricultural organizations; the advantages of having a first degree agricultural organization certificate; appeal to the grading result; and cancellation of the agricultural organization certificate as a result of an inspection carried out by the Ministry in case of violation of the relevant legislation provisions other than force majeure.
