Regulation on the identification and transportation of nomadic animals.

This Regulation establishes the procedures and principles to be followed in the identification and transportation of nomadic animals. The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to camels, cattle, buffalos, sheep, goats and equine animals belonging to people who do not have a specific grazing area and engage in animal husbandry by staying temporarily with their animals in other places at all seasons. This Regulation lays down rules concerning the responsibilities and obligations of the animal owner; transportation of nomadic animals within the country; documents to be used in nomadic animal transportation; loading, unloading and transportation of nomadic animals; movements of nomadic animal herds; animal health measures relating to the passage of nomadic animals through infected areas; identification and registration of nomadic animals; the duties and obligations of the authorities; and the procedures of the transportation of undocumented and unidentified nomadic animals. It also sets out penalties for the transportation of nomadic animals in non-compliance with the provisions of this Regulation.
