Abstract
This Regulation lays down rules for the development of maritime tourism in accordance with environmental standards and minimum requirements, in order to enhance its contribution to the national economy and increase the competitiveness and quality of the maritime tourism sector in the international arena. This Regulation sets forth provisions on general requirements, certification, classification, and management of the maritime tourism facilities in accordance with the Maritime Law and Environmental Law; powers and liabilities of the operators of maritime tourism facilities; types of maritime tourism vessels; rules for navigation in the Turkish territorial waters relating to marine environmental protection and safety of life and property at sea; and rules and duration of stay for foreign tourism vessels.
