Abstract
This Regulation aims at taking describes phytosanitary measures to reduce the risk of introduction and/or spread of quarantine pests associated with wood packaging material in use in international trade. This Regulation shall apply to wood packaging material such as pallets, dunnage, crating, packing blocks, drums, cases, load boards, pallet collars, and skids. This Regulation sets forth provisions on marked and used wooden packaging materials, imported wood packaging materials, approved measures, procedures upon import, transit arrangements, heat treatment, certification and marking system, inspection, and duties and responsibilities of the Commission.

Entry into force notes
The Paragraph 2 of Article 9 enters into force six months after the day it is published in the Official Gazette, and other provisions enter into force on the day it is published in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of this Regulation are governed by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
