Regulation on mining.

This Regulation lays down procedures and principles regarding the implementation of the Mining Law for granting rights to real and legal persons for a certain period of time for the exploration, operation, development and production of mineral resources under the rule and possession of the State of Türkiye, in accordance with national interests. This Regulation sets out provisions on the classification of minerals; mining rights and application procedures of licensing for exploration; periods and activities of exploring; permit and licensing for operation and period of operating licenses; mapping; environmental compliance fee; rights of easement, usufruct and expropriation; inspection of mining activities; state’s share; administrative fines, registration of licenses; exploration activities of state agencies; mining activities in state forests, pastures, agricultural land, wildlife protection and development areas, and drinking and utility water basins; and employment of permanent supervisor and technical staff.
