Abstract
The objective of this Regulation, which includes 19 articles in five sections, is to define the principles of a "National Parks Fund" and its expenditures that is established under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for meeting establishment, maintenance, repair, protection, promotion, management and operational costs of the locations covered by Law on National Parks, No. 2873. The Regulation has been prepared in accordance to Article 22 of the Law on National Parks, No. 2873. The Fund will be managed by central and local organizations of the General Directorate of Forestry. The obligations and duties of Fund managers and officers are defined in the Regulation. The Fund revenues are defined as: Appropriations from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs budget; Usufruct rights, entrance fee, operation charges, etc. from locations covered by the Law; 3% of the share from the project cost of any kind of facilities that will be erected due to usufruct rights; Grants and donations.
Costs that will be met through the Fund are: Surveys, inventory, planning, and project activities for the locations covered and will be covered by the Law, and activities for protecting the feature and nature of these locations; development, arrangement, restoration, reconstruction and improvement of natural resources; environmental arrangements; Transfer of necessary public properties, and expropriation or acquiring usufruct rights or leasing of necessary properties; Construction of infrastructure, superstructure, administrative building, research stations and any costs for related activities; Consultancy services, staff remuneration, social assistance, hospitality; Procurement of all kinds of vehicles, tools, equipment and alike for services provided, their maintenance, repair and operational costs; Stationary, furniture and other consumption goods; All kinds of taxes, levies, communication costs, etc.
All kinds of procurement, sales, leasing, construction works, services and other activities will be contracted in accordance to Regulation on Fund Tenders.

Entry into force notes
