Abstract
This Regulation sets forth provisions on the purpose, scope, management, functions and administration of the research and application center of the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. The main functions of the research and application centre of the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University for innovative projects in livestock are (I) to follow up the research and development studies in the field of livestock, (II) to strengthen cooperation between the university and the industry sector, (III) to enable transferability of information and infrastructure developed in the center to the private sector and the public, (IV) to establish an animal health unit specialized on diseases of cattle, sheep and goat, (V) to monitor reasons of the loss in animal production, (VI) to conduct studies in accordance with the national development policies, and (VII) to provide assistance to local breeders relating to new production models and techniques.
