Abstract
This Regulation sets out the authorization and working procedures and principles of organizations that will conduct biological effectivity, residue, side effects, initial toxicity, resistance, toxicology and ecotoxicology tests which are the basis for the approval of commercial plant protection products to be used against harmful organisms in the environments where plants, plant products and fungi are grown and preserved. This Regulation lays down provisions on the duties and responsibilities of the organizations which are authorized by the Ministry for conducting tests; the standards for the staff and infrastructure of the organizations; the application of plant protection products for testing and precautions to be taken in the testing area to prevent harm to humans, animals, the environment, beneficial organisms, honeybees, silkworms or wildlife during or after the tests; inspection of the organizations which are authorized by the Ministry for conducting tests; cancellation of authorization certificate; and transitional provisions regarding the organizations which are authorized by the Ministry for conducting tests or which have applied for authorization before this Regulation comes into force.
