Abstract
This Regulation determines the rules and procedures to be followed during transportation of live animals and animal products. The Regulation does not cover the rules and procedures of the transportation of semen, ovum and embryo. I covers the transportation of Transfers of bovine animals, sheep and goats, poultry animals, fishery products, bees, and equine animals. The Regulation consists nine chapters: Purpose, Scope, Basis and Definitions (I), General Provisions, Transport Charter and Veterinary Health Report (II), Transportation of Various Animal Species (III), Loading, Unloading, transportation of Animals and Herd Movements (IV), Purchase and Sales of Animals, Passing Through Diseased Areas, Transport Vehicles (V), Transportation of Animal Products (VI), Disinfection of Transport Vehicles and Obligations of Officers (VII), Procedures to Follow in Uncertified Transportations (VIII), Final Provisions (IX). The regulation also consists an Annex.
