Scientific and technical co-operation agreement in the field of forestry and forestry researches between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic.

This Agreement sets out a framework of co-operation on forestry, forestry research and related areas such as forest management and conservation, protection and forest fires between The Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Syrian Arab republic. The contracting parties agree upon mutual assistance, building up a joint committee, exchange of knowledge exchange of experts and trainees and organizing study tours. The parties further state that, Turkey will consult Syria in some areas of expertize. The Agreement is for a five year period with amendment and extension rights requiring mutual agreement and termination rights requiring six months notice.
