Sectoral Policy on fertilizer 2018-2022.

This Sectoral Policy is a national policy with a sectoral approach. The timeframe of this Sectoral Policy is 5 years between 2018 and 2022. This Policy lays down strategies for the development of the fertilizer sector, including production of fertilizers and intermediates and import and export of fertilizers, raw materials and intermediates, marketing, and educational, administrative and technical services for the utilization of fertilizers. The overall purposes of this Policy are to increase the food and agriculture production, meet the needs of the increasing nutritional and sheltering needs due to the rapidly increasing population and rising living standards, ensure sustainable use and management of soil, improve soil quality, and to obtain more and quality products from the unit area.
