Abstract
This Notification sets forth the rules and procedures of the methods of analysis to determine the amount of vinyl chloride in foodstuffs released by materials and articles. The Notification is consisted of 6 articles and an Annex detailing the rules and procedures of analysis of the amount of vinyl chloride. The Notification is drafted in accordance with the European Commission Directive 81/432/EEC of 29 April 1981 laying down the Community method of analysis for the official control of vinyl chloride released by materials and articles into foodstuffs.
