Abstract
This Notification provides rules for the technical and hygienic production, preparation, processing, packaging, storage, transportation and marketing of caseins and caseinates intended for human consumption. This Notification lays down provisions on product features; food additives; pesticide residues; veterinary drug residues; coccidiostat and histomonostat residues; hygiene; packaging and labeling; food enzymes; vitamins and minerals; flavorings and food ingredients with flavoring properties; transport and storage; sampling and analysis methods; and administrative sanctions. This Notification has been drafted in line with the Directive (EU) 2015/2203 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to caseins and caseinates intended for human consumption and repealing Council Directive 83/417/EEC.
