Abstract
This Regulation indicates the list of simulants to be used for testing migration of the constituents of plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with a single foodstuff or specific group of foodstuffs and the concentration of these simulants. The list is annexed to this Regulation. This Regulation shall apply to plastic materials and articles in the scope of the Turkish Food Codex Regulation and the Turkish Food Codex Regulation on materials and articles which are intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. This Regulation was drafted in line with the Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 of 14 January 2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and the Council Directive of 19 December 1985 laying down the list of simulants to be used for testing migration of constituents of plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs (85 /572/EEC).
