Abstract
This Regulation sets forth principles and procedures of production, processing, storage, transport and marketing of cocoa and chocolate products in accordance with the technique and hygiene rules. This Regulation shall apply to cocoa and chocolate products including cocoa bean, cocoa nibs, cocoa mass and chocolate cake. This Regulation is drafted in line with the Directive 2000/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 June 2000 relating to cocoa and chocolate products intended for human consumption.
