Abstract
This Regulation aims at protecting the consumer at the highest level, by specifying the rules for nutrition and health claims for all foods intended for the final consumer and mass caterers. This Regulation shall apply to nutrition and health claims used in labeling, presentation and commercials of food. This Regulation sets forth provisions on nutrition requirements, scientific approval, public health requirements, restrictions, and procedural matters. This Regulation has been drafted in accordance with the Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods.

The Articles 18 and 32 will enter into force on 1 July 2017, other provisions enter into force on the day it is published in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of this Regulation are governed by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
