Abstract
The Regulations specify a deadline for the installation of marine turtle excluders on nets of commercial shrimp trawlers that are registered in Trinidad and Tobago or fish in its waters. Living marine turtles that are incidentally captured shall be returned immediately to the sea (reg. 5). Owners of commercial shrimp trawlers shall participate in marine turtle conservation practices specified by Minister. The Minister may give further directions for purposes of these Regulations.
