Abstract
These Regulations implement provisions of the Shipping Act in relation to ascertainment and certification of tonnage of new and existing ships of 24 metres in length and over and smaller ships. They also provide for acceptance of foreign tonnage certificates and ascertainment and certification of tonnage of foreign ships at request of a government of a country which has accepted the International Convention on the Tonnage Measurement of Ships, 1969.
