Abstract
It is prohibited to cut or remove trees or forest produce from any area without a licence or written authority by a Forest Officer responsible for the area (reg. 3). No person, licensed or authorized, shall be allowed to cut or fell any tree belonging to species specified in the Schedule, which do not measure the specified minimum felling girth. Any person who contravenes these Regulations shall be liable to a fine or imprisonment of not less than seven years (reg.5). (5 regulations and one Schedule)
