Abstract
The Board established under this Act, to be known as the Tanzania Pyrethrum Board, shall be a body corporate to promote the development of the pyrethrum industry, in general, and to carry out specific tasks specified in section 5, which include: (a) advising the Minister; (b) issuing regulations for the control of pests and diseases; and (c) issuing export licences and determining the conditions for issuing such licences. The Board shall assist the pyrethrum industry in establishing the Pyrethrum Industry Trust Fund into which the Board shall pay all moneys collected by way of levies imposed under section 14 of this Act (sect. 16). The Board may make rules generally for the better implementation of this Act and in respect of matters specified in section 21. (22 sections)
