Written Laws (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act, 2003 (No. 11 of 2003).

This Act amends the Dar es Salaam Sewerage Authority Act, 2001 concerning the regulatory powers of the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) in respect of the Dar es Salaam Sewerage Authority (DAWASA). Until the EWURA assumes its regulatory powers in respect to the DAWASA, the Minister shall assume and exercise all powers in respect of EWURA as provided for under section 7 of the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority Act, including the granting of licences to DAWASA and the Operator appointed by DAWASA.
