Decree No. 209 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on the decommissioning of main pipelines for oil, gas and products for their processing.

This Decree establishes the procedure for the decommissioning of main pipelines of oil, gas and products of their processing (their parts), which are state property, in case of inexpediency of their further exploitation, the expiration of the service life, the state of emergency of the objects, the construction of bypass lines, etc. Business entity, requesting the decommissioning, must submit to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, complementary to other required documentation, a plan of measures for ensuring the protection of the environment, of the population and territories from emergency situations, coordinated with the territorial bodies of the State Ecological Inspection, the territorial bodies of the State Service for Emergency Situations, and the regional bodies of state administration.
