Ministerial Decree No. 1029 validating the Regulation on the modalities of the formation of the state food reserves.

The present Regulation establishes the mechanism of the formation by the Agrarian fund of the state food reserves for the purpose of ensuring manufacturing of agricultural commodities and ensuring food security of the population. The Agrarian fund shall be entitled with the task of the formation of the state food reserves within the limits envisaged by the state budget for the current year. The state food reserve shall be formed of agricultural commodities by means of: 1) financial interventions; 2) storage of the confiscated agricultural commodities subject to internal trade.
