Order No. 499 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources validating the Procedure for Issuing Hunter's Licenses and Annual Control Cards for Accounting for Hunted Game and Violations of Hunting Rules.

This Order establishes the Procedure for issuing hunter's licenses and annual control cards for accounting for hunted game and violations of hunting rules. The issuance of hunter’s license and control card require payment of fees. The hunter's license is valid indefinitely, the control card is issued to the hunter's license for the period from March 1 of the current year to the last day of February of the following year, inclusive. A hunter's license is issued to citizens of Ukraine who have reached the age of 18 and successfully passed the exam for obtaining a hunter's license. The hunter's license and control card are issued by the State Forestry Agency or its territorial bodies to citizens, regardless of their declared/registered place of residence (stay), within the time limits specified by the second part of Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "On Administrative Services". Annexes contain the sample forms of hunter’s license and control card.
