Order No. 974 of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy No. 974 amending the Regulation on trade assessment and labelling of meat.

Clause 3.4 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Carcasses (half-carcasses) of cattle aged more than 8 months, but not more than 12 months (young beef) are marked with the corresponding fattening category and the letter stamp "Z", which is applied to the outer surface of the carcass, on the back quarter, applied to the lumbar part at the level of the fourth lumbar vertebra and in the front quarter - on the chest at a distance of 10 to 30 cm from the sharp edge of the sternum." Clause 3.5 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Carcasses (half-carcasses) of cattle aged no older than 8 months (veal) are marked with the corresponding fattening category. The letter stamp "V" is also placed on the outer surface of the carcass, on the back quarter it is applied to the lumbar part at the level of the fourth lumbar vertebra, and on the front quarter - on the chest at a distance of 10 to 30 cm from the sharp edge of the sternum.”
