Resolution No. 992 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on the procedure for special management of aquatic biological resources in inland fishery waterbodies (parts thereof), internal sea, territorial sea, EEZ and the continental shelf of Ukraine.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for special management of aquatic biological resources in inland fishery waterbodies (parts thereof), internal sea, territorial sea, EEZ and the continental shelf of Ukraine. State Fisheries Agency performs distribution of limits for special management of aquatic biological resources for industrial fisheries between managers of aquatic biological resources. Fishing quota in percentages shall be established after allocation of the reserve and determination of the necessary amount for non-commercial purposes and shall be allocated to each aquatic biological resources manager in the fishing authorization that is issued for five years. Managers of aquatic biological resources by 1 August of the current year shall submit application to the State Fisheries Agency requesting fishing authorization for the following year. The application must contain the following information: (a) the name of the fishery waterbody (part thereof), indicated for fisheries; (b) list of aquatic biological species and amount of aquatic biological resources that are planned for catch; (c) list of fishing vessels indicating their board numbers; (d) full and abbreviated name of legal entity, location, identification code, contact phone number - for legal entities; (e) name, place of residence, personal identification documents, registration number of the tax card's account number and other mandatory payments, contact phone number - for individual entrepreneurs; and (f) consent for the processing (publication) of personal data. Fisheries (catch) of aquatic biological resources shall be performed in accordance with fisheries regulations and fishing regime.
