Water Act (General Rates) Instrument, 2004 (S.I. No. 44 of 2004).

This Instrument, made by the Minister under section 107(2)(q) of the Water Act, determines in the First schedule the rates payable in respect of water supply and sewerage services by the National Water and Sewerage Corporation in the towns indicated in the Second Schedule. It also determines the annual indexation of such rates against the domestic price index, exchange rate, foreign price index and the electricity tariff and includes in the rates penalties for illegal connection or taking of water.
