Abstract
This Subpart C focuses on endangered wildlife, and defines several prohibited activities concerning any endangered wildlife, including: importation or exportation of any endangered wildlife; taking endangered wildlife within the United States, or within its territorial sea, or upon the high seas; possess, offer for sale, deliver, carry and transport any endangered wildlife. Exceptions concern any endangered wildlife bred in captivity; exemption from registration requirements. Further matters covered by this Subpart include: permits for scientific purposes, enhancement of propagation or survival, or for incidental taking; issuance of permits authorising any activity other than the prohibited ones.
