Abstract
This Subpart E concerns the cases in which a species which is not endangered or threatened closely resembles an endangered or threatened one, and on this basis, the species may be treated as either endangered or threatened if the director decides accordingly, in compliance with the provisions of the Act. The Regulations define conditions for treatment of species, and application of the provisions of the previous Subparts; measures concerning permits, application requirements, issuance criteria, conditions, duration and revocation.
