Abstract
This Subpart K contains requirements for regulating halibut deck sorting and applies to any catcher processor using trawl gear in the non-pollock groundfish fisheries in the Gulf of Alaska and the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area. The Subpart concerns catch monitoring requirements and catch weighing; sample storage; deck safety Plan requirements and content; inspection and vessel operator responsibilities.
