Abstract
This Act implements the international Agreement on the International Dolphin Conservation Program and amends the Marine Mammal Protection Act. Among other things, the Act directs the National Marine Fisheries Service to conduct studies to on significant adverse impacts on any depleted dolphin stock in the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean by purse seining. The Act also concerns moratoriums ad other measures regarding purse seine fishing for yellowfin tuna in the eastern tropical Pacific ocean and amends the Dolphin Protection Consumer Information Act.
