This Protocol amends the 1916 Convention between the United Kingdom and the United States of America for the Protection of Migratory Birds in Canada and the United States; by updating the list of migratory birds (Art I); by redefining conservation principles (Art. II); in Article III concerning review progress in implementing the Convention; in Article IV on national conservation measures; and in Article V on the prohibition to take nests or eggs of migratory game or insectivorous or non-game birds.
