Law No. ZRU-772 “On amendments and addenda to some legislative acts in connection with the improvement of legislation on firearms.”

Law No.545-I of 1997 On the protection and usage of the animal world shall be amended to add the following wording: “Permit for sport and recreational hunting for natural persons are provided with a hunting license, permission to keep and carry hunting firearms and hunting pneumatic weapons (if it is intended to be used)". Law No. ZRU-550 “On firearms” shall be amended to add the following wording: “Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have reached the age of twenty-five have the right to purchase civilian hunting weapons and ammunition. Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have reached the age of eighteen have the right to purchase civilian sporting weapons and self-defense weapons. Hunting weapons and ammunition for them can be purchased by citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have been granted the right to hunt”.
