Resolution No. 707 of the Cabinet of Ministers amending Governmental Decree No. 65 validating the Regulation on the protection of the territory of the Republic Uzbekistan from harmful organisms on plant quarantine and obtaining permits in the field of plant quarantine.

Import of products subject to plant quarantine control into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is authorized only if there is a quarantine permit issued by the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a phytosanitary certificate or a certificate issued by the competent government authorities of the exporting country. In the following cases, the import of products subject to plant quarantine control into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is authorized only with a quarantine permit issued by the Agency for each batch separately: (a) there are no authorized government bodies in the exporting country; and (b) regulated products that do not require a phytosanitary certificate in the exporting country, and are included in the list of products, regulated products imported into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and exported from the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with a low phytosanitary risk.
