Fisheries (Prevention of Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing) Regulations, 2017.

These Regulations, implementing provisions of section 45 of the Fisheries Act, provide for measures for prevention of Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing. The Regulations define the following relevant terms: conservation and management measures; contracting party; fishery products; fishing authorisation; fishing vessel; illegal fishing; regional fisheries management; Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing; transhipment. Matters covered by these Regulations include: landing of fish or fishery products; catch certificate; refusal of landing; inspection of foreign fishing vessel; access to ports and compliance with the measures of the Regulations; designated ports and authorisation to access port; penalties for offences.
