Geographical Indications Regulations, S.R.O. no. 46 of 2008.

These Regulations, made by the Minister, under section 20 of the Geographical Indications Act, No. 24 of 2004, implement provisions of the Act and specify procedures for ensuring the registration of Geographical Indications and the Marks. Matters covered by these Regulations include: procedural matters for registration of Geographical Indications; marking application; refusal or invalidation of registration of misleading marks; special provisions concerning marks conflicting with a geographical indication for wines and spirits.
