This Circular 18/2023/TT-BNNPTNT amends and supplements some articles of Circular No. 23/2019/TT-BNNPTNT providing instructions on several articles on livestock production activities in the Law on Animal Husbandry.
The Department of Livestock Production shall be responsible for:Build and operate a traceability system, database of livestock products and livestock facilities; Carry out inspection and examination of livestock activities nationwide; Develop a content framework, program, and training time on artificial insemination and embryo transfer techniques for buffaloes, cows, goats, sheep, and horses; Inspect and supervise livestock raising entities and individuals engaged in livestock farming on implementing biosafety and environmental sanitation measures at livestock farms nationwide; etc. Entities and individuals raising livestock shall implement biosafety and environmental hygiene measures in livestock farming and implement the provisions of this Circular and relevant laws.
