Decision 19/QD-BNN-KH 2021 promulgating the Plan of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to implement Resolution 01/NQ-CP.

This Decision issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam promulgates the Action Plan for implementing Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP of the Government, dated January 1, 2021. This Resolution aims at achieving socio-economic development goals for 2021.
The Action Plan sets up Objectives for 2021, including: 1. Promote smart, sustainable agriculture and rural development, enhancing value-added products, adapting to climate change, and increasing international integration. 2. Focus on restructuring the agriculture sector, improving productivity, quality, and competitiveness, and enhancing rural prosperity.
The Measures proposed in the Action Plan include: Develop legal frameworks to support agricultural innovation, market-based growth, and international integration; Promote value-chain development for key agricultural products, apply advanced technologies, and focus on high-value crops and livestock; Implement sustainable farming practices to combat climate change, and preserve resources such as water and land; Continue building modern rural areas, improving rural living standards, and promoting rural job creation; etc.
