Abstract
This Regulation provides for procedures for the statement of food product specifications, testing and inspection, regime of fee collection, etc. The Regulation consists of 4 Chapters divided into 13 articles.
Food products subject to specification statement are listed in article 1. Chapter II deals with procedures and dossiers' documentation necessary for the statement of product specifications which shall include: written statement of product specifications; table of standards set out by the trader; business registration certificates; slip of testing results on quality and hygienic criteria of the food subject to specification statement; labelled samples, etc. Responsibilities of traders are outlined in article 6. Traders shall apply for extension of valid duration of product specification statements as provided for in Chapter III. Chapter IV deals with testing, inspection and regime of fee collection and reporting.
