Abstract
The purpose of this Decision is to approve the national action plan for food safety and hygiene, which shall have the following objectives: raise the awareness and responsibility of food producers, dealers and consumers towards food safety and hygiene; try to comply to world food standards; achieve the target that 100 percent of high-risk food production establishments apply the hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP); prevent the spread through food of food poisoning and diseases; etc. Contents and implementation solutions of the national action plan, and implementation progress are described in article 1. The Inter-branch Steering Committee for Food Safety and Hygiene shall have the responsibility to direct, monitor, inspect and urge ministries, branches, etc., in effectively implementing this plan. Article 2 describes the responsibilities of each ministry in organizing the implementation of the plan.
