Decree No. 04/2009/ND-CP providing for incentives and supports for environmental activities.

This Decree provides for incentives and supports in terms of land, capital, tax and charge exemptions and reductions for environmental protection activities.
The Decree sets out the conditions for receiving incentives and supports and specifies the types of organizations that may be eligible for incentives and supports such as those that give priority to activities that imply the relocation of seriously polluting establishments or the recycling, reuse or reduction of polluting wastes.
Incentives and supports may include: supports for investments in infrastructure works; supports for ground clearance; land use levy and land rent exemptions; land related financial incentives for seriously polluting establishments which must be relocated; incentives for investment capital raising; enterprise income tax incentives; import and export duty incentives; environmental protection awards; etc.
