Abstract
This Joint Circular provides for environmental protection requirements which imported scraps shall meet, and for conditions that organizations and individuals using scraps as raw materials in production or reprocessing shall meet in order to be granted permits to import scraps.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall promulgate a list of scraps permitted to be imported for use as raw materials for production. The Circular further provides for the following: procedures for the grant of certificates of eligibility for the import of scraps; and procedures for the import of scraps.
