Abstract
This Joint Circular guides the conditions for the import of scraps to be used as production materials and specifies the conditions that organizations and individuals must meet in order to import scraps. Imported scraps must be on the list of scraps permitted to be imported issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and must meet environmental-related national technical regulations.
The Joint Circular further provides for the following: procedures for the grant of certificates of eligibility for the import of scraps; procedures for the examination and customs clearance of imported scraps; and for responsibilities of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, traders, etc.
