Order No. 10/2008/L-CTN on the promulgation of the Law on Compulsory Purchase and Requisition of Property.

This Law provides for the compulsory purchase and requisition of property which may be conducted only in case of real necessity for defence or security reasons and national interests.
The Law provides for: property subject to compulsory purchase or subject to requisition; rights and responsibilities of state agencies in compulsory purchase and requisition of property; rights and obligations of persons whose property is compulsorily purchased or requisitioned; contents of decisions on compulsory purchase or requisition of property; etc.
Persons whose property is compulsorily purchased will be paid sums of money for the purchase of their property while persons whose property is requisitioned and who suffer property damage caused by the requisition will be paid compensations calculated according to market prices.
