Ordinance On Mineral Resources.

The Ordinance ( eight Chapters for thirty-six Articles) applies to all solid, liquid and gas mineral resources found on Vietnamese land, continental shelves, inland and in the sea, whose management is vested in the State that shall issue licences and allocate all activities involved in the exploration, survey, exploitation, protection and safety of mines to either organizations or individuals. These companies and individuals shall enjoy several legal benefits as forming joint ventures, acquire and inherit exploitation, transfer and selling rights as provided for this Law. Contractors shall pay royalties to the State and shall manage mines and mineral resources according to the present provisions.
