Mineral Law.

The Mineral Law provides for the exploration, exploitation and mining operations of natural mineral resources, in the subsoil of the land, islands, internal waters, territorial sea, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Vietnam, by Vietnamense and foreign national contractors, under the authority of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation. Moreover it provides for the extraction and use of surface, thermal and groundwaters.
