Abstract
The Petroleum Law provides for the exploration, exploitation and mining operations not only of oil, but also of natural gas and sulphur, in the subsoil of the land, islands, internal waters, territorial sea, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Vietnam, by Vietnamense and foreign national contractors, under the authority of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation.
