Maritime (Amendment) Act 2008 (No. 13 of 2008).

This Act amends the Maritime Act [CAP 131] in relation with a reorganization of the administration regarding maritime affairs. The Office of the Commissioner of Maritime Affairs is vacated and certain functions of the Office and Maritime Appeal Tribunal are transferred to the Minister responsible for the administration of this Act. In addition, the Act provides anew for the appointment of the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner of Maritime Affairs and the Maritime Administrator.
