Abstract
This Act amends various enactments including the Maritime Zones Act by inserting after subsection 9(1)“(1A) In addition to subsection (1), the exclusive economic zone also comprises of any area beyond what is set out in subsection (1) as a result of any Regional or International Agreements of which Vanuatu is a party.” Section 9 concerns rights and jurisdiction of Vanuatu in its exclusive economic zone.
